Ben is a writer based in New York State. He divides his time between New York City and Albany, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English at SUNY Albany. He is co-editor of Barzakh, a lit mag based at SUNY Albany.
His novel, The Sea Beach Line, was published in 2015 by Fig Tree Books.
His previous publications include the punk rock novel, Harvitz, As To War (Iron Diesel Press, 2011) and the nonfiction monograph/chapbook/zine Punk in NYC’s Lower East Side 1981-1991 (Microcosm, 2014), which was recently published in Spanish translation by the Chilean press Editorial Montacerdos.
